Single and Ready to Mingle

What’s the deal with only one sock coming out of the laundry when two went in? Did they have a spat during the wash cycle and decide to go their separate ways? Last week I decided to spend a ridiculous amount of money on ALO socks. I know, I’m dumb, but they are actually the most comfortable socks I have ever worn! Well, I wore them on Wednesday, threw them in the laundry, and what do you think happened? Only ONE came out. Like, what happened to the other one? I want to lose my mind. I paid a literal fortune and it is nowhere to be seen. Why is it that the socks with the holes and the stretched elastics make it out as a pair, but the nice, new, comfortable ones are now single and ready to mingle. I mean, I did by a second pair, but that’s besides the point. Those ones will never be seeing the inside of the washing machine.
